How long have you been in the industry?
I started working with The Accommodation Bureau at the beginning of 2022 and I have been getting to know the full ins and outs of property management and all the variety of assignments it involves on a daily basis. I previously worked in London, making property reports, conducting inspections and introducing new tenants into their homes on their first day. This is where I discovered my interest in property management and lettings therefore coming back home to Cornwall was just where I had to be to do it.
What do you love about your job?
My favourite part of the job has to be meeting people face to face, whether that be getting out the office and visiting our tenants at their properties or meeting new people looking for a new home and just being there to assist them with everything I can. I love being able to be hands on and to roll up my sleeves.
What’s your favourite beach in Cornwall?
It has to be the small but absolutely beautiful Rinsey Beach between Porthleven and Praa Sands. It's a long climb down but when you are there, it feels like you are separated from the world with only you, the ruins of an old tin mine and the crystal clear waters.
What do you do outside of work?
I am quite an active person in my spare time. I am a trained dancer and performer and do acrobatic dance on the weekends where I hang from ropes and swing on the sides of Cornish buildings and landscapes. A real thrill. I also spend time in the gym and play video games in my evenings after work if I am not spending time with family and friends or my new hamster 'Squishy'.
